The Rafael Parcerisas House is located in the district of Les Corts, at the intersection of Carrer Morales, Carrer Entença and Travessera de les Corts, opposite the Joaquim Ruyra gardens. It is an isolated building, rectangular in plan and organised in a single volume, like a block. It has a commercial ground floor (a pharmacy since 2014) and a total of three floors of flats, together with an rooftop terrace.
The very morphology and location of the building prevents the description of a single main façade. The entrance door, facing Carrer Morales, is small and in a secondary context. Above it is one of the few elements that distort the straight lines: the stairwell, which exceeds the regular height of the building.
The openings in the building are of two types: windows separated by sets of bricks and solid balconies located on each floor at the corners of the building. The windows facing Carrer d'Entença are smaller and must correspond to parts of the dwellings that require smaller openings.
In terms of conservation, the building is not in good condition. There is plastering in poor condition and external damp stains. However, the building does not appear to have undergone any significant remodelling or alterations.
It is a clearly rationalist composition at a time when many architects had supported classicist projection. It can be seen in the purification of lines and elements and the abstraction of volumes, which heralds the path towards the recovery of the rationalist language that would take place a decade later.
